Though it says "merge right", there is no accel lane which based on personal experience have witness close calls. No yield sign is present here either.

The new cooper river bridge is in distance over here. Its path will go about one mile north of the current I-26/US 17 juncture.

Coleman Blvd (SC 703) prior to the construction of the new bridge was a right lane exit. It is now a left turn exit. US 17 is two lanes before and after the SC 703 interchange.

Towards the end of the bridge construction, we are now on the US 17 Mt. Pleasant Expressway segment.
