John Glenn Blvd:
John Glen Blvd north of Syracuse is a 40-mph expressway that runs northeast from I-690 near its interchange with the Thruway. The only driveways on the expressway are four driveways located in one 150-yard segment just east of I-690.
Lake Ontario State Parkway:
The parkway is an expressway from Hamden Beach State Park to NY 261. East and west of that, it's a freeway.

Mt. Read Blvd:
Mt. Read Blvd is an expressway in the Rochester area. The expressways goes through several forms, starting at Latta Rd. as a 4-lane undivided. There is one part of the highway containing only three through lanes, since a turn lane was added at English Rd. Just before Stone Rd, the expressway widens to a 4-lane divided expressway. This configuration continues until one mile north of the southern end, where the median ends and Mt. Read Blvd becomes a 4-lane undivided expressway. The southern terminus is at NY 33.

Robert Moses State Parkway:
This highway along the Niagara River is a freeway for most of its length. However, there is one segment that is a super-2 expressway instead. The parkway exists in this configuration between NY 104 / NY 384 and the Rainbow Bridge in
Niagara Falls to I-190 in Lewiston. This section used to have 2 lanes going in each direction, but to reflect the use for tourism, the former southbound span was shut down.

South Parkway:
This expressway on Grand Island runs from I-190/NY 324 near the South Grand Island Bridge to a traffic circle at Beaver Island State Park and the West River Pkwy. What makes this road a four-lane divided expressway is that there are no driveways leading to and from the road, but there are at-grade intersections.

West River Parkway:
The West River Parkway is a super-two expressway with a few at-grade intersections on Grand Island in Western New York. The West River Pkwy. spans from I-190 and NY 324 near the North Grand Island Bridge, along the shore of the Niagara River south to Beaver Island State Park and the South Pkwy. A parallel West River Rd. services local homes and businesses.

NY 5/8/12:
The North-South Arterial Highway in Utica, designated as NY 5, NY 8, and NY 12, is an expressway.
NY 5S:
NY 5S between Utica and Ilion is a mix of freeway, expressway, and boulevard.

NY 7:
NY 7 is an expressway in Binghamton from I-88 to NY 363. For a short time south of I-88 it is 2-lane divided, then it opens up to 4-lane divided.

NY 21 / NY 36 - Maple City Bypass:
This expressway in Hornell connects the heart of town to I-86 / NY 17. Most of the distance carries only the NY 36 designation, but NY 21 joins the expressway north of Hornell in the Town of Hornellsville and leaves about midway through the City of Hornell.

NY 23 is a 4-lane divided expressway from NY 145 in Cairo to US 9W in Catskill.

NY 60:
There is a short expressway segment of NY 60 in Jamestown. The expressway starts in downtown and travels south, crossing the Conewango Creek.
NY 104:
NY 104 is a super-2 expressway on a 4-lane right of way from Alton to Red Creek. Further west, there is a 4-lane divided expressway segment from the Williamson Town Line to Basket Rd. Westward from here, it is a freeway to the Geneesee River. From the Geneese River to NY 386 (North Greece Rd), an upgrade to a 6-lane divided expressway is under construction.

NY 179:
This expressway runs thru Lackawanna, Hamburg, and Orchard Park.
NY 219:
US 219 is an expressway for six miles, connecting the I-86 freeway with the Bradford Bypass freeway in Pennsylvania. A congressman from Pennsylvania wants to upgrade this to I-67 as part of his “Continental One” transportation corridor.
NY 286:
There is a mile-long expressway segment of NY 286, just east of NY 590. NY 286 begins at NY 590 as a 4-lane road with a 35 mph speed limit. 1/10 of a mile east of that, it becomes a 4-lane divided expressway with a 55 mph speed limit. After one mile in the expressway form, NY 286 becomes a 4-lane undivided conventional road with a 40 mph speed limit.

NY 328:
This route is a 4-lane divided expressway from NY 14 to the west end of Pine City. NY 328 continues west as a super-2 expressway, bypassing the village of Webbs Mills. The limited access highway ends just west of Webbs Mills.
NY 352:
NY 352 is an expressway from downtown Corning to NY 17 in East Corning. This expressway used to be NY 17 before the Corning Bypass was built.
NY 370:
NY 370 is a 4-lane undivided expressway from I-81 into Liverpool. Because it is located in a recreational area next to Onondaga Lake, there is a seasonal split in the speed limit. The speed limit is 45 mph during the summer and 55 mph during the winter.
NY 425:
NY 425 is an expressway from I-290 in Tonowanda to Nash Rd in North Tonowanda. This expressway, located on the north side of Buffalo, has both interchanges and traffic lights on it. There are no driveways on the expressway. Instead, businesses are accessed by a service road on the northbound side.
NY 434:
NY 434 is an expressway in Binghamton from the Susquehanna River to one mile west of Pennsylvania Ave.

NY 787:
NY 787, also known as Cohoes Boulevard, is an expressway between NY 7 / I-787 and NY 32 in Cohoes. It is has no driveways or intersections with side streets, but it is not a freeway because there are a few traffic lights.
