Welcome to your tour of the CR 97 expressway. Southbound near the north end.

Traveling thru SUNY territory on the right and hospital territory on the left.

Now in suburban Long Island, but the nice tree barriers on the side continue.

The little warning sign suggest slowing down to 40 mph because there's a dip. The normal speed limit on the road is 55.

Proof that nice old cars use CR 97. Also, it looks like the pavement in the median was added at a later date.

Only one mile left to the nice new SPUI at NY 25.

Right before the SPUI, there's a nice new sound wall on the left.

Suffolk County is the only area around here that strings their traffic lights up on wires. Maybe Suffolk County could afford to build these nice expressways since it saved money on traffic lights.
