The South Amboy bypass begins at the Pine Ave. interchange. However, there are two traffic lights between Pine Ave. and Bordentown Ave., so NJ 35 is not a jersey freeway yet. (The two traffic lights are only for u-turns, not for cross-traffic.) At the Bordentown Ave. interchange. At this point, US 9 merges into NJ 35. To continue northbound, see the US 9 pictures.
