Although you must use US 52 south of the US 1/52 split to reach Florence, most locals around Rockingham would probably prefer Charlotte for big city amenities. Also present in this photo is the future I-73/74 corridor signage. NCDOT marks I-73 end at US 74 bypass but don't tell SCDOT that, because although it also has I-73 future corridor signage, SCDOT's priority for building I-73 is not as high as NCDOT’s.
